Lauren Dunn has made Bethel Church her home since 2005, making its people and leaders her close friends and family. Having completed her first year of the “School of Leadership” at Bethel Church she began developing her gifting in ministry. She works at the Homes of Refuge group home for troubled youth, has been a camp counselor for elementary and high school ages and chaperoned youth trips to destinations all over California, Oregon and to Mexico. All of this while working toward her educational goal of her degree in nursing.
As you can tell…her ministry gifting has been put to work in many ways…the most recent was the summer of 2006 when she returned to the foreign mission field…this time traveling throughout Indonesia, serving the people of that country both physically and spiritually. Upon her return, Lauren accepted the position of “Director of Children’s Ministries” at Bethel, knowing that God will use her to reveal His love to the children of Eureka and Humboldt County.
Her heart's desire and life’s message is to teach others to walk confidently in their identity in Christ. Lauren is excited to faithfully follow God to where He is calling her and takes hope in Him understanding that nothing compares to seeking Him and knowing His heart.
