About Us

In 2005 Bethel Church celebrated its 50th Anniversary. From its very inception in the mid-1950's Bethel has been recognized as a "non-traditional" church. We are a body of believers who are seriously intent on being relevant to our community without sacrificing the truth and power of the Word of God. We look less to form and more to substance, desiring to offer our community an encounter with God through our allowing Him to live in us and through us in a myriad of ways. We are blessed to live in a community with many cultures and sub-cultures and it is our privilege to be in partnership with many "like-minded" churches in our region to minister to our community and reach them for Jesus.

We live in the present and look to the future with hope and anticipation. We passionately believe that God has promised that we will see and be part of the mighty move of His Spirit that has been prophetically spoken of over this region. A major part of our identity as a body of believers is our calling to be a people whose passionate worship creates a sound that Heaven delights in and blesses the Father's heart. As you will read in our "Core Values" you will note that we believe that God uses ordinary believers to do the miraculous! Empowered by His Holy Spirit we are called to be a people for whom the supernatural acts of God are part of our everyday lives. We have seen that God is calling us to a deeper level of accountability and relationship...and that has become one of our greatest joys and firmest of objectives...to grow in relationship with Jesus and one another.

Please know that we are looking forward to meeting you and invite you to come and get to know us!
